I was responsible for building an image-heavy storytelling method for all of Hearst’s properties. The end goals were complex regarding scale: We needed to display high-resolution imagery in a format that was faster to load, whether horizontal or vertical and agnostic of screen size. We also needed to increase ad views and build out a template that was adaptable to all our brands’ needs (at the time, 21).

Successes

The outcome of the contribution of my work resulted in over 130M page views per month, a 30% increase from the year past.
